Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Savannah Historic District, 301 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31401-4217

Meet your small group in Savannah's beautiful Historic Downtown to begin your savory and sweet journey through the flavors of this lowcountry city. Learn about Savannah's long and colorful history, grand architecture and easygoing way of life from your informative local guide as you make your way through the city's four original squares and along its scenic waterfront.

Along your route, visit several different restaurants and food shops to sample a wide array of local specialties such as shrimp and grits, pork belly donut slides, Scottish and English cuisine (a nod to our city's founders) and one-of-a-kind honey. (Tastings subject to change without notice). Establishments you visit may include Savannah Bee Company, Molly MacPherson's Scottish Pub, 22 Square Restaurant, and Pie Society. A non-alcoholic beverage sampling is included, and you can purchase additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (own expense) if you wish.

You'll find your many food tastings add up to a fulfilling lunch. Though your walking tour travels almost 1.5 miles (2.4 km), the pace is not rushed and you'll have two rest breaks totaling 45 minutes. Your 3-hour culinary and cultural odyssey in Savannah concludes at the City Market, where you can discover more dining options. Or, use the map provided to you to retrace your steps and revisit favorite restaurants and shops from your tour.

We fully enjoyed meeting others on the tour and hearing some great stories about the history of both the restaurants and the foods we sampled. Our tour guide, Rachel, was a lovely storyteller!! Fully enjoyed the experience!!

Tour guide was fantastic. He gave us a lot of history, explained about the food we ate. Was very pleasant, personable. My husband and I were very satisfied and excited that we did this tour with a exceptional tour guide

Anne and tour operators were great! Accidently scheduled our tour for a month after our visit. They kindly transferred the booking with no hassle. SO much information on the area and restaurants we visited. All the tastings were delicious. Walking on cobblestone roads, so feel confident in your shoe selection. If you're looking to get a feel for the local tastes and learn about Savannah, this is the tour for you. Nicole & Martin

Josh was amazing with his humor and guidance throughout the tour. Could have used a few more napkins or a wet wipe at the end of the tour. We had a blast. Thanks!

Highly recommend the walking tour. We went to six venues; food tasting was good and our guide, Rachel was fantastic. She shares and showed us history of Savsnnah that we didn't know or would have missed.

This was a fun activity. You get to meet people from all different backgrounds. I have had other food tours that was better. And they actually let you choose from 3 different items. This one you only had one choice. Need to have water. Couple of places had nothing to drink not even water. You can buy drinks. Also could have skipped the honey store. It was fun but pricey for the food you get. But would do it again for the experience.

The food on this tour was terrible and the tour guide who was very nice gave us no historical information at all. I have been in lots of food tours and this was the worst.

We were very disappointed that this tour took no Covid precautions. No masks and very close seating. We chose not to go on the tour.
