My wife and I traveled to Monument Valley on our way to California. Our guide with Dineh Bekeyah Tours was John Burns. John was an awesome guide! He is a wealth of information and very personable and willing to share. John even showed us photographic techniques to improve our picture taking, specific to this location. The tour included John Ford’s point, a famous movie location, as are many of the other scenic areas in Monument Valley. John made the experience all the more memorable by taking us to see several arches. At one of them he played a flute as we lay against the base of the arch to see the outline of an ‘eagle’… that was very moving and memorable. I’ve always wanted to see Monument Valley and couldn’t have had a better experience, thanks to John!

Explanations of how the Navajo people live, in the hogans well as artifacts & petroglyphs. Also, the ways in which people ge food and water living in Monument Valley; weaving, & rug making. The Navajo language, the culture, and respect for the land.

Joe was amazing! He was knowledgeable and polite! I'd recommend his tour to anyone. He took pictures of us too! This tour is worth the money and trip to the Valley. He took us to spots on locals would know. 11/10 would suggest to a friend!!

Our guide, Joseph, was wonderful. Just my son and I in his comfortable Suburban, which was nice because it was a rather chillly day. Would highly recommend

Amazing experience, very quiet and few tourists at this time of the year. The guide was very clear and descriptive and she made us live a magical moment when she played an instrument close to one of the natural rock formations.

My wife & I did the 2.5 hr tour. While we have previously driven the 17 loop on our own this guided tour took us to areas only accessible through a tour and they were pretty awesome. The guide provided extensive background on the Navajo history & traditions. It was a excellent experience!

Exceptional experience! Talking with our guide and visiting traditional house were the most memorable. I was expecting to ride an open-air cart in the very cold temperature (-8 degree Celsius), but they provided warm car. The guide was really kind. I don’t have any negative comments at all, just let me express my appreciation once again!

John was an amazing tour guide- very knowledgeable. He even played native music for us at one point. We highly recommend him- and this company. It was a wonderful experience for us.

We are a family of 4 who joined this 2.5 hr tour. Had an amazing tour guided by Steven. He was so knowledgeable and informative on everything Navajo/Monument Valley. Yes, you could just do a self guided tour or drive on your own. However you won’t ever be able to get all your questions answered or are able to listen to Navajo guides’ fabulous singing & music performance unless you join the tour. Our teenagers enjoyed the tour, too. Highly recommended.
