Our bus driver was amazing and I regret that I cannot remember his name. He shared a ton of information and pointed out many interesting sites while including a bunch of historical facts. He spoke quickly but always repeated the important numbers so it was easy to understand and take in, even through his mask. He said he was 61 (if I remember correctly) but he sure had a lot of energy and stamina for explaining every detail, putting those younger anti-mask bus drivers that hardly said anything to shame. . .I doubled the tip I’d planned to leave because he’d certainly earned it! I really enjoyed the garden district, cemetery #3, and city park, but particularly learned a lot about hurricane Katrina and the following devastation. Our excellent driver was by far the best one I’ve ever had on a bus tour, keeping the ride smooth, safe, and quickly efficient. I highly recommend this tour (with this driver!) for a broad overview of the city and its history when you first get to New Orleans.
